Elephant Prodigy Artist - New Meaning to the Term, “Great Master”
As a student of Animal Behavior, I have always had a compelling fascination for Animals that Paint. When in Thailand on a Global Ecology Trip three years ago, I had the opportunity to observe some of the younger Elephants that did paintings for the tourists, to help earn their keep. I have three Elephant Paintings hanging on my Office wall here in Sedona, as well as one which was done by two (rescued) Dolphins, who were taught to paint in captivity as an activity to keep them busy and creative. All of the artwork I had seen previously is abstract. What you will see in this movie from Thailand is truly astonishing, and is just another example how the animals who inhabit Earth’s Biosphere have unique and truly wonderful ways of expressing themselves.
